Choice- What Comes With It

Choice is a great gift. What comes with it?

I have a couple of thoughts that have been ruminating inside myself. Maybe they won’t be at all relevant to you, as they are to me. But just in case – here we go:

1. Every thought is a seed. If you plant crab apples, don’t count on harvesting Golden Delicious.

What Matters Most

I recently saw a quote that I thought was both simple and profound.  It struck me as one of those things that matter most. It was simple in that I thought, “Wow! Why didn’t I think of that?” Powerful in that it got me to take action right then and there – to make an important change in my life. It’s all about how I approach my daily activities. And focus them on what matters most. The quote was:

Years ago in film school, I learned a camera technique called “pulling focus”. Basically, you make a choice to focus the camera on an actor or object. Then, during the scene, you change the focus to another actor or object in the frame or picture for dramatic emphasis. That’s “pulling focus”.
